The Charles Dickens Oral Interpretation Contest

Technical Information

Please remember that the judges will need to see you clearly and hear your every word in order to decide on a winner. Take time to record and produce a good presentation.

If you submit your presentation on a DVD, it must be a standard video DVD, playable in any standard NTSC (United States) DVD player. If you are not familiar with how to prepare a DVD, you may have technical people at your school or friends who can help you with this.

You may also decide to upload your presentation to YouTube, but please remember to send a link to denise@authorsink.com so she can instruct the judges on how and where to view your presentation.

There are excellent resources on YouTube to help with the production and uploading of your video presentation.

If all else fails, and you continue to have a problem with your presentation, you may also contact our technical person, Carl Gilfillan, at carl@mediaconsultants.com. Please include your email address and phone number where he can reach you. Also let him know the best time to contact you.
